Hey, I’m Christina, a passionate entrepreneur, licensed massage therapist, esthetician, nail technician, and X-treme Lash certified lashista.​​

Growing up, I always dreamed of being my own boss. Whether it was owning a coffee shop, designing a clothing brand, becoming a photographer, a makeup artist, or a travel blogger, believe me…I wanted to do it all.  Being a multi-passionate person, I’ve built my life upon impulsive and spontaneous decisions. Little did I know that I would one day start a spa business, and I am telling you, it’s been quite a fun ride.

You may be wondering what led me to start this business. Well, after several job changes and constantly searching for my purpose, I realized that I needed something that would allow my creativity to blossom. At times, I had no idea what I wanted. At other times, I had too many ideas in my head to focus.
 
After completing my associates degree, I went on to pursue esthetics. I added massage therapy, eyelash extensions, and nail artistry to complete my resume. I was now  ready to find a job that would allow me to put my newly learned skills to use, but instead of finding a job at someone else’s business, I began constructing a business plan of my own. A year later, after countless sleepless nights, I was ready to give birth to “Lava”.
Lava Massage & Day Spa is a small “hole-in-the-wall” business. Nothing fancy, but a modest, clean, and cozy space that should make you feel right at home. I enjoy making people look and feel great both inside and out. When I see our clients leaving with a relaxed body and a big smile, I feel happy and fulfilled. This is what “Lava” is all about.
